Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Guru Hargobind Sahib College has been constituted in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The IQAC is responsible for promoting and sustaining a culture of quality, continuous improvement, academic excellence, and effective institutional management.
The Cell works as a coordinating mechanism for quality-related academic and administrative activities and supports the college in maintaining appropriate quality standards, documenting institutional practices, obtaining stakeholder feedback, and promoting best practices.

Workshops and Seminars
Organizes workshops, seminars, training programmes, and other activities on quality enhancement and institutional development.
Documentation
Maintains systematic records and documentation of academic, administrative, extension, research, and quality-enhancement activities.
Best Practices
Coordinates the identification, adoption, and dissemination of effective institutional practices.
Institutional Database
Supports the development and maintenance of an institutional database through appropriate MIS and data-management systems.
Continuous Improvement
Reviews institutional processes and facilitates appropriate measures for improving academic performance, administration, student support, and overall institutional effectiveness.
Accreditation Support
Coordinates quality-related documentation and activities required for UGC, NAAC, and other applicable quality-assurance processes.
